This page replaces previous versions of No Roof Games’ privacy policies and statements. This Privacy Statement is effective from 12.12.2022.
We will update this page as necessary if existing laws, regulations, interpretations and best practices by public authorities change.
Here we want to clarify the privacy policies relating to No Roof Games’ games, websites and related services in which Personal Data may be processed – these will be collectively referred to as Services.
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations is of paramount importance to us at No Roof Games. We will do our best to protect the privacy of our players and visitors. The purpose of this page is to explain how your Personal Data is processed by us. If you use Services owned and/or operated by No Roof Games, this page applies to you.
First of all – certain data, such as payment data, must be processed as they are required by laws and regulations. As for other data, we will only collect data that is necessary for the functionality of our Services, making sure we can offer quality products and Services for our players and visitors. Data for analytics, segmenting and advertisement may also be collected to better understand our players and visitors and further improve our Services, and this data will be anonymized when possible.

Personal Data (that we collect)
Data that you provide us yourself
Personal Data of this type consists of data that you yourself provide us, either through playing our games (such as your player name and/or other profile data), or other data you choose to provide us (for example, when contacting us for any reason, related to open positions, surveys, promotions or similar events).
Data collected automatically and/or through our partners
Your game profile and game progress data (this will include, in most cases, an automatically generated internal game account ID), your IP address and mobile device IDs (for example your device ID and/or advertising ID), data about your device – such as device name and operating system, browser type and language, Internet Service Provider, and Mobile Service Provider.
Data about your use of the Services, such as game data, purchases made and your interactions with other players within the Services.
Demographic data, fraud prevention data (for example abuse of refunds in games or click fraud in advertising), data from the platforms on which our Services run or data from payment services and data for advertising and analytics purposes.
Who has access to your data?
Some of our staff have access to customer Personal Data and they are instructed on how to work with that particular data safely and ethically. Each of our staff only sees this data to the extent necessary to perform their jobs.
In addition to our staff, we use trusted partners which means some data may be transferred to a third party in order to guarantee the functionality of our Services. All our partners take into account the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) (GDPR) and other regulations related to the processing of Personal Data.
We may process customer information with third parties for analytics and ad personalisation purposes. We may also use behavioural analytics data to better provide you with our Services. Data used for analytics and ad personalisation purposes is anonymised or pseudonymised whenever possible.
Additionally, Personal Data and information related to suspected criminal activities and/or offences may be disclosed to legal authorities upon lawful requests.
Keep in mind that other people may also see the personal information that you share in our games, or post in our social media or similar platforms.
Data retention
We will retain your Personal Data only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this page. In addition, some information may be retained longer to the extent necessary to fulfill and demonstrate compliance with legal obligations (such as financial record-keeping responsibilities).
How are we protecting your data?
We work to ensure that the Personal Data in our registries is protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures. We protect data through various physical and digital methods and through training and guidance of our staff.
Our Services are global by nature, so data may be transferred anywhere in the world. Because different countries may have different data protection laws and regulations, we take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data. The appropriate safeguards we may use are those recognized by the European Commission or other accepted methods in accordance with data protection laws and regulations.

A cookie is a file that your web browser saves on your device. Cookies are usually stamped with a unique identifier to understand website visitors and provide better services.
Currently we are not deploying user cookies, as we do not see the need for analytics and/or advertising on our website here. Yay!
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information on the processing of your data, the rectification of your data, the erasure of your data (”right to be forgotten”), to restrict the processing of your data and to object to the processing of your data.
Please note that the data erasure operation upon request is irreversible and we cannot recover erased personal information (this may include game state data).
You can make a request to exercise your rights by contacting us. The request must be sufficiently specific to allow us to verify your identity (we can only act on a request you make regarding your own data). We will inform you if we are unable to comply with certain aspects of your request, such as erasing any data that we are legally obliged or entitled to keep.
Also, you have the possibility of opting out of personalised or interest-based advertising on your mobile device by checking the privacy settings of your Android or iOS device and turning off “Allow Apps to Request to Track” or selecting “Limit Ad Tracking” (iOS) or “Opt-out of Interest Based Ads” (Android).
Collecting Personal Data from individuals under the age of 13
We do not knowingly ask for or collect Personal Data, or target advertising to persons under the age of 13. If you are under 13 years of age, please do not send us your personal information – this may include, but is not limited to – your name, email address, home address or telephone number. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under the age of 13, we will delete such data.
